Bee House Dripper

Sometimes there’s nothing quite as satisfying as control, and nothing gives you more control over the flow rate of your coffee as a Pour Over. We’ve found the Bee House Drippers perfect for getting a lighter-bodied, crystal clear cup of any of our single- origins, but by increasing or decreasing the speed of your pour you can easily get a completely different feeling and tasting cup.

STEP 1
HEAT WATER
to 200˚ F, or about 30 seconds off the boil.
STEP 2
WEIGH OUT
22 grams of coffee.
STEP 3
GRIND
at medium, or about the same level as for an auto-drip machine.
STEP 4
PLACE #2 PAPER FILTER
in the dripper, and rinse it with hot water. This will ensure that you don’t get any papery taste in your coffee while also pre-heating the dripper.
STEP 5
PLACE GROUND COFFEE
in the dripper.
STEP 6
PLACE DRIPPER
on top of the cup.
STEP 7
POUR ENOUGH WATER
just to wet all the grinds.
STEP 8
WAIT 30 SECONDS
allowing the coffee to bloom, or release some of its gases.
STEP 9
POUR REST OF WATER
(you’ll be using 12oz in total) in a circular motion starting in the center and going out, making sure to evenly soak the grinds.
STEP 10
WAIT
for your coffee to stop dripping, and you’re good to go!
