The runaway winner in barista voting for the Gregorys Film Club selection for May was Paul Verhoeven 1990 sci-fi classic Total Recall, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger in one of his finest performances (we’re also pretty big Last Action Hero fans, but that’s another story). Based on Phillip K. Dick’s short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale”, Total Recall is basically the best movie about memory ever (Eternal Sunshine of the whatever) (kidding, that movie’s great), and you’re all more than welcome to stop by the Park Avenue Movie Palace and watch it with us and some cold beers.
