OUR COFFEE Nueva Segovia [Nicaragua] Nueva Segovia [Nicaragua] Ngozi [Burundi] Ngozi [Burundi] Karongi, Intango [Rwanda] Karongi, Intango [Rwanda] Frinsa, [Java] Frinsa, [Java]
Description Grown in the high-altitude micro-region of Murra, just east of Dipilto, this limited micro-lot showcases the precision and passion of Nicaragua’s specialty producers. Assembled at the San Fernando beneficio by our local expert, Marilec, this coffee highlights careful processing and experimentation that result in exceptional clarity, sweetness, and complexity in every cup. Sourced from the Bahire community in Burundi’s renowned Ngozi region, this coffee represents years of dedicated separation and cupping by JNP Coffee to isolate the area’s highest-scoring lots. The result is a cup that beautifully expresses the impact of terroir, vibrant, complex, and full of character. A true example of Burundi’s best. Grown in the high-altitude volcanic soils of Gishyita, this Red Bourbon coffee showcases bright, complex flavors with every carefully hand-picked cherry. Born from a decade-long friendship and direct trade with local farmer Gilbert Gitali, this limited-release coffee captures the purest expression of Rwanda’s renowned terroir. Nestled in the highlands, Riunggunung Estate is a 10-hectare farm and part of a collective of smallholders known for producing some of the region’s finest coffees. Our selection comes from the farm’s highest elevations (1,600–1,650 masl), where cooler temperatures slow cherry development and create the ideal conditions for a truly distinctive cup. This coffee carries the character of its highland terroir: nuanced flavors, bright and complex acidity, and a richness that reflects Java’s storied coffee heritage. Each step of the process, from hand-picking to careful sorting, honors the purity and depth of flavor in every cup.
